A strange thing is (Colek and Feallan could confirm) that Poland usually uses "lektors" (voiceovers), while the small Czech Republic (and maybe Slovakia as well) usually dubs everything... even if it has ten time less population.

Explanations?

(by the way, I hate voiceovers... original, or dubbed, nothing in between!)

Dubs were never really a thing in Poland (with the exception of kids movies, or animated movies in general). Theater releases were subtitled, so they only made voiceovers for television broadcasts, full dubs would be too expensive for just that.
