Hi, the new Star Treks were as IMAX in theaters, anyone know if streaming/vod/hdtv have open-matte versions?
IMAX DMR: Star Trek / Star Trek: Into Darkness / Star Trek Beyond

Star Trek Into Darkness was the only one filmed in IMAX proper. Star Trek (2009) was shot on standard film.
Beyond would be extremely interesting, as it was shown in the Barcos format which, according to IMDb, has an aspect ratio of 5.95:1. Having seen it in theaters, this mainly applied to certain CGI shots.

IIRC only about 20 minutes are available on the super-ultra-mega-wide format... said so, it would be great to watch them all!

Cool, please let me know if you find an open-matte version of ST or ST: ID...
Thanks.
