His name is Rik.

I don't think it's him then - unless he uses an alias

It's not the same guy, your titles aren't all in the list of DTS available through "Rik". By the way only originals are worth $10 each, if they're copies they should be free or almost free, or maybe $5 each at the most.

It's a copy but as I see it a copy is identical to the original anyway unless you're a collector

Copies are just as good, only difference is that CD-R wear out over time whereas pressed discs should last a lot longer. And poly prints will last forever. DTS discs are useless without a print, okay so we have some people who can decode the files, but otherwise they're not in a format you can use for anything other than projection with the correct print.

I get a digital image. As long as my hard drive is safe, it never degrades. And I mainly want it for conversion and sharing with the community anyway, so it's all good.

If this was true I would not be a member here and Doombot and others would not have already decoded/edited,synced and added the audio to projects already released.

Hopefully bringing this thread back to life is fine.
I have an opportunity to buy a few DTS Cinema discs. They aren't cheap ($50 each). That said, if it helps the film restoration community then it is a small price to pay. I see that Jetrell Fo has been banned. Is there someone else I should be talking to or somewhere else I should check out?

50$ for Cinema DTS disc seems a quite steep price...
