I received the Blu.

I confirm the Blu TC disc also contains the CDS mix!

I don’t have a Blu-ray burner but will buy one to rip if necessary. The data should be the same as the HD-DVD.

You don't need a burner to rip, just a BD Rom drive and some software...

Yes I am. But I need to buy an internal BD player for the computer anyway. That's a good occasion.

Will do it next week. That's great that we could compile a list of disc having the CDS mix in addition to the R1 DVD! Awesome work gentlemen.

Have you noticed on the back of the DVD, almost all the pictures are reversed LOL

Note that disc A of the two disc set is Region B locked.

Is the video on the BDs and the HD DVDs in question the same VC-1 stream? If it is, the CDS mix might even be on other European releases too. I'm fairly sure that people have verified that the VC-1 releases all shared the same video and English audio track. It could be that with all the discussion of the differences in DNR/EE/AR in the various encodings of the old master, nobody noticed the audio differences.

Possibly.  I noticed that Studio Canal is involved in the Japanese DVD, so any prior-Skynet-Edition theatrical disc only from Studio Canal in any country might have it. We already know thanks to MrBrown they dropped the theatrical cut in Germany, so no chance there.

The HD-DVD Video is VC-1.

It is quite possible that there are some more EU Discs with that master, but I won't be easy to obtain.

Germany never got the Theatrical Cut on HD-DVD at all, and the first time we got the TC in HD was on the Skynet Edition with seamless branching.

UK seems to have the TC on HD-DVD, but afaik it has only DTS HD, not DTS-MA Audio, and only one french Audio Stream, not two... also I don't know if it is VC-1.

Well, according to your link there, it's the director's cut or Special Edition, so no, that would be the remix. You'd have to have a seperate disc for the theatrical cut to suspect that you might have the CDS on it..
