Its not really an open matte presentation. If fact vast majority of it is cropped 2.39 shots. The only scenes/shots that are opened up are the Imax scenes which compose about 24+ mins of the run time.

You are going to love the open-matte presentation of Silverado, which is an awesome movie
Agreed about the no logo, hence me not wanting to put it up as an official project. With the logo there it is just too compromised.
But I have edited the entire thing together for a test last night. Nothing polished yet. But if anyone can find a better source or wants to work on this project, here are the scenes and shots that I found that used Imax footage (or Vistavision, digital, etc):
1. Opening shots of Budapest and train station sequence
2. Opening credits
3. Flashback to the train station sequence
4. 1st shot of the Kremlin rumbling (cut back to Hunt looking back in 2.39)
6. 2nd shot of the Kremlin exploding and Hunt running
5. Opening shot of Dubai (Dunes, camels, road then cuts back to 2.39 in the car)
6. Shot approaching the city then cut to a flyover of the Burj Khalifa
7. Entire climbing sequence till cutting back to 2.39 with a shot with Jane holding onto Brandt's pant leg and Brandt holding onto Hunt out of the window.
8. Brief shot of the city and the approaching sandstorm (the HDTV is compromised here since it has a fade in from the commercial and a TV14 logo)
9. Entire sandstorm chase from leaving the building till the villain reveal
10. Entire parking garage sequence from entering the structure till the Russians entering at the end
The nice thing about the way Brad Bird shot these sequences is that the entire thing is in Imax. So when Hunt is climbing and the scene is in Imax, when it cuts back to inside the hotel room or the hall or elevator, its still in Imax. There is no jarring continuously shot changes back and forth between Imax and 2.39 like the way Nolan sometimes does it.
Also agreed with both of you about Silverado. It is great fun and probably an under appreciated movie. Best thing Costner has been in outside maybe Open Range or Untouchables.
