UHD BD to BD?

Contrast at 0.98 wouldn't do it for me, as I'm already borderline not having white names on the opening credits. Regarding saturation, it's because I went further in contrast that I had to compensate colorwise, 'cause if not, it looks too dull.
I don't have Clear and Present Danger yet, so I'll look into it sometime in the future. My next tests will be on A Few Good Men, X-Men 2, The Lost World and The Big Lebowski.

Big Lebowski is way to orange/yellow for my liking. A member over at MYS already attempted a color correction to get rid of the yellow on it which from the screenshots looks decent.

Right, so my Gladiator settings don't work for The Mummy. I was trying to approximate the look of the remastered Blu-ray.
My other idea was to match the UHD conversion of E.T. to the Blu-ray, and then try the settings you come up with on The Mummy and see how it works out.

I saw that on the spleen, too, about Lebowski.

After 4 tests on the first 10 minutes of A Few Good Men, I'm happy with the following tweaks : hue=0,sat=1.06,bright=-2,cont=0.85

Just like with Die Hard and its Netflix remaster, I can't be satisfied with X-Men 2. I was expecting the conversion to look like the Netflix remaster:

Also, on the original X-Men, although the movie overall looks fine with those same tweakings (hue=0,sat=1.05,bright=0,cont=0.9), the opening scene in 1944 Poland is very dark and very different colorwise from the Blu-ray. I realize it's not a joyfull period in Magneto's past, but still, I don't believe we're supposed to barely see anything in this scene:

Here's some Big Lebowski on Default. Doesn't look too yellow/orange to me. Maybe it needs to cut back a bit on the contrast-- I'll see about that when I encounter a highlight that seems blown out. It looks a lot better and healthier than the Blu-ray with all the digital tampering nonsense, DNR and edge enhancement.

Here's for the first 10 minutes of The Mummy 1999. Initially, I went with the Default settings, just like with Lebowski which turned out fine apparently, both being Universal. But then I reduced brightness and contrast a bit as under the daylight it felt too bright, even though it seemed fine inside the temple and in the opening night scenes. I wouldn't go below 0.9 for contrast to keep white subtitles.

I'll try those settings on The Mummy as they look alot better than the Gladiator settings which made it look over saturated, thanks. Supposedly in the Big Lebowski there's a sunbed scene which look's way to yellow on the UHD, would be nice to see it with the default settings.

You might want to reduce saturation to 0.9 on The Mummy, as when I tried those same tweakings on Lebowski, the orange started to be too much in the bowling scene. The Default contrast made the 1.0 saturation look fine, but when contrast is reduced to 0.9, the saturation becomes a bit too much. So saturation at 0.9 should compensate for that.
