That makes for a fascinating, educating viewing on how to polish a film in the editing room (and with some retakes). I'm guessing he ditched Cyberdyne because that's a set up for a follow up and at the times, they didn't do film to set up trilogies or franchises. They just did the film, then the success dictated follow-ups. Now they think they are hot shit and do films that are just set ups for other films instead of telling one complete story.

I think its more of an unnecessary connecting piece in the story vs. a setup for a sequel. I think they trimmed it just because the story doesn't need the illogical loop of Cyberdyne getting the technology from themselves haha. It's still setup perfectly for a sequel with her driving into the sunset knowing she has a son to prepare for war. Looking forward to checking this out btw, will wait for the next render Smile

V2 has finally been completed.

I decided to completely remaster this project from scratch so that it plays seamlessly with no drop in quality.

I also decided to just add stuff that added to the story. That meant adding arcs, and forgetting about moments that don't bring anything new to the plot.

So the two main arcs added to the story are now Traxler arc (two scenes), and the blowing up cyberdyne arc (two scenes) making for the best extended version to be played without noticeable shift in quality as the added scenes are the best ones quality wise.

The quality of the deleted scenes were variable, which makes me think that the one retained here might have been in a penultimate cut at one time.

I will in the near future revise V1 so that it incorporate most of the other scenes, but this will be in 480p to make the edit seamless.

So the two versions will co-exist

V1: 480p Workprint style in low quality, adding most of the scenes where they fit.
V2: 720p extended edition with the best scenes / arcs only added.

Currently uploading, PM me for link. For those who asked already, you will be PMed later tonight.

This is exactly what I've been looking for since the ADM edit has become outdated. Thanks so much for putting all the effort into it and making thoughtful decisions instead of just jamming everything in for the sake of it.

I am very interested in seeing your project (have made something similar on my own, but with dvd version).
But i cannot send you PM, because is closed for some reason.

I am really excited to see this. Thank you so much. Since the DVD release "Where i first even saw the deleted scenes" I'd hoped someone would do this.

Thank you.

Hi, sorry to dredge up old posts on you but does this have the original sound effects?

Awesome. I have the MGM Special Edition but was hoping there would be a 720p or 480p version out there so I don’t have to mess with my TV’s aspect ratio. How do I go about downloading this project? Thanks for getting back to me BTW. I didn’t get an email alerting me to your reply and just saw this now.

I'm also interested in the original sound effects.

Whoops! I meant to say: "May I have a link for this new edit(s)?"
