This one is for audio, apparently. I found a video one, but no Prores included in the options.

I would look again at that, it's for video. There's no prores option because you have to add script

ffmpeg.exe -i "source.mkv" -vcodec prores_ks -profile:v 4 "dest.mov"

Guys, all this stuff mean nothing to me. I'm sorry, but it might as well be written in Korean. Think of me as a 4-year old computerwise. I'm reading stuff about command lines, and even though it's in French, I don't get half of it... That's why I'm a GUI guy.

I've found Shutter Encoder. I'm not sure what I'm doing, but I'll know in an hour and a half if it did what I'm expecting...

OK, Shutter Encoder did the job. I ended up with a 193GB file called The Silence of the Lambs Criterion_ProRes_422_HQ.mov
And I'm indeed no longer annoyed by that green bar. So we're back in business. Thanks, Bronan, that seems to have been the good lead, and I managed to circumvent the command line stuff that I'm clueless about. Now I guess I have to restart from scratch, including the scene cuts detection... Or is there a way in Resolve to import the work already done from another project to this new one?

Supposing both versions of the source are exactly the same length-wise, you should be able to right click on the file in the media pool and replace the source manually I think?

Is this one you're still working on Beber?

Nope. I was never satisfied with the result. Of course I just started using Davinci Resolve at the time to color grade from scratch. I suppose I'll try again later using LUTs, the way I started doing it for T2, on which I intend to resume work at some point.
