Hoping for good things. I'd be up for helping in any project to get the best sound. It seems that horror laserdiscs are always shockingly expensive though.

Yes and I imagine a lot of people buying them don't even play them! £30-70 per disc and more if it's Japanese, plus the earlier movies are often rotters.

I don't suppose anyone knows if the Scream Factory discs have the original mono as opposed to down mixes?

I know there were some issues with the theatrical cut of Friday the 13th Part 1 with some people speculating that it was made from the uncut version due to some strange audio loops. As far as I can tell and from what others have said on blu-ray.com, these seem to include the original audio on them. I haven't done any tests myself but I will get to it one day. They also state 1-7 has newly remastered Mono/Stereo audio trax. So unless they f*cked it up, they are original. Thanks given by: alleycat
