Hoping for good things. I'd be up for helping in any project to get the best sound. It seems that horror laserdiscs are always shockingly expensive though.

Yes and I imagine a lot of people buying them don't even play them! £30-70 per disc and more if it's Japanese, plus the earlier movies are often rotters.

I don't suppose anyone knows if the Scream Factory discs have the original mono as opposed to down mixes?

I know there were some issues with the theatrical cut of Friday the 13th Part 1 with some people speculating that it was made from the uncut version due to some strange audio loops. But, it'd be interesting to compare this with the German Mediabook and of course the laserdisc. Thanks given by: alleycat

As far as I can tell and from what others have said on blu-ray.com, these seem to include the original audio on them. I haven't done any tests myself but I will get to it one day. They also state 1-7 has newly remastered Mono/Stereo audio trax. So unless they f*cked it up, they are original. Thanks given by: alleycat

im not sure if anyone verified this but HBO MAX Has The original mono of the part 1 in LATAM
