Always been curious about the German blu, whether it's that much better than the D-VHS

HDBits has a German disc, it was uploaded back in 2008.

Also, it seems as if it possible that the first disc is badly produced, I've got one, but the disc is neither recognized in my BD-Rom nor in my PS4.
The disc looks fine without any scratches, and freshly cleaned from any fingerprints.
So it might be possible that you get a disc, that is fine, but not really usable, because of bad production.

The alternative should be if a kind soul gets it on HDbits. Alas I'm not there.

I am not there, also.
I hope that the disc might be readable in one of my other BD-Rom drives, but I cannot check before end of February, due to upcoming vacations.

Also, I have a 2nd one coming in, this week, and I hope that maybe not every pressing of the old disc is produced that badly.

Those raised prices are weird. I put the early R1 DVD release of Robocop 2 in my cart, it was around 5 buck, the next day, it was raised to 38 bucks!

Of course I canceled it. I think they raise prices when the system detect several visits and / or put in carts or saved for later.

Might be that they have some analysis algorithm. Maybe even checking eBay offers, and other price determing.

If an item is rare and many people add it to the basket, then I think the algorithm might dig deeper, if something is to cheap.

I can only download a German disc by the end of February, I'm not at home right now.
