The idea is to render the english DVD using BD footage since the BD is redubbed with even more cuts. I started compiling a script of footage from the BDs of both the US cut and the Chinese cut (for the missing scenes). Since the DVD cut has less missing scenes than the US BD, I need to use the english audio track from one of the DVDs. This DVD seems to be the only one with English DTS audio:
R2 Holland - World Wide Cinema
DISC TWO
* The Film - Director's Cut
"Making Of" featurette
"Special Effects" featurette
Outtakes
Subtitles: Dutch
Aspect Ratio:1.85:1
Picture Format:Anamorphic
TV System: PAL
Soundtrack(s):Cantonese DTS 5.1
Cantonese Dolby Digital 5.1
English DTS 5.1
English Dolby Digital 5.1
English Dolby Digital 2.0
French Dolby Digital 2.0
Case type:Keep Case
Now I'm not sure if the DTS track is better. I just thought I'd ask here if anyone knew which one is superior or if they had something superior. Yes the Director's Cut is far superior, this project is for those who enjoyed the english dub back in the day
