I was fortunate enough to watch this in "UltraAVX" when it came out (Canadian premium theatre format, not anywhere as large as IMAX; with Atmos/DTS:X audio). It was the open matte non-quite full IMAX release and it looked incredible. Been hoping to recreate that experience someday. The screenshots you shared look terrific.

Those screenshots literally gave me a sense of "dream come true" moment. Have been a huge fan of this movie since I have watched it in IMAX. Didn't realize that I would be seeing the Digital OM/IMAX version through this very impressive work.
Really an amazing job PDB !! And really appreciate your immense hard work on this. Looking forward to the final output. Thanks given by: nafroe

Christ, this looks incredible. I'm from Scotland and have been to the area this was filmed, and I saw the film in IMAX, so this is extremely exciting for me.

I went on a road trip through Scotland, and the Highlands were absolutely breathtaking. The more image we can get of that landscape, the better. Thanks given by: pipefan413

I'm not even a particularly big fan of the film, but it's visually incredible, not least because of the setting. I remember the first time I went to Glencoe and I don't think there's an English word for the very specific sense of astonishment I felt. (If I'm not mistaken, there actually is in Japanese... but I'll be damned if I can remember it). This is the stuff that IMAX really works for. Imagine watching Jurassic Park in 2.39:1, for example. You'd get no sense of that wonderment you get from the taller frame that highlights the scale of things.

Little update. I’ve finished checking this over and even though I know probably missed the alignment on a shot or two, I can’t currently find any mistakes.
Unfortunately, rendering has been a pita taking 60 hours and failing 3 times. Basically those failures wiped out two weeks of solid rendering. I’m hopeful that the render finishing now will go better since I think I’ve fixed the issue. Once that is done I’ll render the 264 and send it to the people who volunteered to watch it for me Thanks given by: Hitcher , pipefan413 , The Aluminum Falcon , interaser , jithinmathew330 , Kynch , nafroe , applesandrice , shiftyeyes , Serums , awsmguy145
