The Killer (1989) mono

Does anyone have the Cantonese DD 2.0 mono track from the Japanese Paramount Blu-ray?

The HK Kam & Ronson BD only contains a 7.1 remix.

I have the Criterion DVD which includes a mono track and had a quick go at syncing, but its quite a bit different and will require some patch work.

The japanese BluRay contains only a 7.1 DTS-HD, a 7.1 Dolby TruHD and a 6.1 Dolby EX track, no 2.0 .

Strange. They are known to be wrong sometimes though.

Then maybe there two Japanese BluRay releases... Mine just have three audio tracks with the same language...

So, yes, there two BluRay releases for the Killer from paramount Japan.

They have different covers. But are both from Japan under paramount.. (seems to be same with a better tomorrow... Having additional Japan dubbed releases..)

There's also this JP boxset with The Killer and A Better Tomorrow I-III that has Cantonese LPCM mono, but it doesn't say for which ones though.

I've The Killer and Hard Boiled from Criterion on LD (CAV Editions). So one day they may come in handy once again

Late this day, I may pick up the japanese Bluray with the Cantonese mono audio. It arrives this afternoon in a dhl pick-up station.

I also ordered the BDs of A Better Tomorrow 1 to 3 with japanese audio, hoping also for mono audio tracks in cantonese on them.

If you are also interested in syncing the Track from the Scanbox DVD to another video source, I could provide the Scanbox audio track that is not resynced (and such altered) to another disc.


Edit: just picked them up, according to their backcovers all four BDs (ABetter tomorrow Trilogy & the Killer) contain some sort of 2.0 PCM Audio.
