OK no problem PDB. Do you want the audio bit-perfect?
Yeah if possible, the more tracks the better
And no rush please. I'm working on other things at the moment and I want to regrade this upscale and the regular scope BD at the same time. Which will take time to get together.
Thanks again.

Described as a video cd for the CD-i system. Could anything else around that time play VCDs?
Seems if this another Format I now have (or better said: will get in the future) Terminator 2 on.
So far Terminator 2 is the movie I have on most different different formats, and may even be releases, in my collection.
So far I think I just miss a kind of Beta Tape, Muse HD LaserDisc, NTSC VHS (I just have a PAL VHS, so overall VHS is covered)... But thats three formats I would not be able to play.
@ PDB: When the CD-I/VCD arrives, do you need it ripped, or you asked just for cutiosity?

You might have a problem...a wonderful problem
I would love a rip if you are cool with that MrBrown. I'm curious about the colors because that video above shows its one of the few video masters where the hallway shoot out is the correct blue.
Worse case I can IVTC and clean up the blocking to add as a bonus.

Hope I do not need a CD-i Player first, so I just could Copy the MPEG from the discs.
If I just can grab the MPEG Videos, you'll get them.
I just noticed, that I also have no D-VHS ... but I think I just ignore these formats.
And, yes, I sometimes can goe nuts about some movies, Terminator 2 is one of them. In some time I really ould like to set up a display with all Temrinator 1 and 2 releases I have.
(Even if I really would love to get Muse System and Disc, but thats a price Range I just cannot afford...)

I'm curious which DVD has Open Matte? I'm surprised that there is a open matte version.

It was a release in Russia, from Pioneer. As far as I know the only DVD release in 1.33:1 of that movie. Never found any other country with a release not in Widescreen. And with exception of Germany all other releases in different countries were either from the Live DVD Master, or even a later common master...

The VCD Release arrived today. So I will be able to make it avaible to you any time soon.
As I assumed, the CD-i Label is more to sell CD-i Systems. It is a normal VCD, playable by a PC.

Awesome. Thanks MrBrown.
It should be 99% a VCD with some formatting differences particular to CD-i. Otherwise same MPEG-1 stream
