Didn't know it was released on cd-i, it was also released on video 8 (the little video cassettes camcorders used) as well.
PDB I have the theatrical full-frame LD, if it will help your project I can capture it

I saw him post that, it's a vcd even tho it's labeled as Cdi.

If it is just a VCD labeld as CD-i, it should be easy to get the Video from that discs.
I think I own a german Video CD of Apocalypse Now, that is labeled as CD-i Video.

Yeah it seems Philips released these titles, to promote cd-i I would imagine. Much like Pioneer with laserdiscs.
The closest I ever got to cd-i back in the day was the demo unit in Comets, plus the special reserve mail order catalogue lol
