Try and google and see what you get.

she had the same problems but being in a different situation her team took care of everything and Joss wasn't aloud to be in the same room with Gal alone anymore. Also most of the stupid reshoots have been done by her double.

so you're wrong again....

Ok, I *did* finally find out about the incident with Gal Gadot, but it was overshadowed by the Cyborg scandal. But yeah, it just demonstrates how much of jerk that successful directors can be and usually are. It doesn't seem to explain your obvious sensitivity about Snyder, though...?

Here's a good example of why I don't like Snyder's work on Justice League (in addition to the previous examples I citedSmile

edit: /spoilers
The scene where Diana Prince investigated the arson site.
1) Travels 10-15 hours or so in the same formal clothes she was wearing in the previous scene to illegally enter another country. As Wonder Woman, it's easier to justify her entry into another country, etc.
2) Sneaks into the site as Diana Prince instead of openly approaching the local law enforcement as an Amazon and requesting permission to investigate a crime at an Amazonian site.
3) Continues wearing the same formal clothes while investigating a dirty archaeological site.
4) Improvising a torch instead of simply bringing a flashlight.
5) Investigating an arson crime scene with a torch (hey, guys! we've found the perp!)
6) Causing smoke damage with a torch to an archaeological site (and sending smoke signals to the cops.)
7) Doing a hero landing in expensive heels.

...ok, by this time I was rolling my eyes. It's obvious that whoever wrote this scene had played Lara Croft's Tombraider growing up. But I don't see any evidence of ever reading comic books. Wonder Woman (in this canon) works in a museum and should know better. Heck, she could probably have used her museum connections to legally investigate the site as Diana Prince if she had wanted to.

I guess Stamper is getting Gal Gadot and Scarlet Johansson mixed up

It's either that, or an attempt at a joke that didn't land

nah, people didn't really take to the theatrical movie that came out in 2017 because it came across like an openly desperate attempt to 'course correct' to feel more like a Marvel movie

all the behind-the-scenes stuff was stuff of rumor up until a few years after it came out

And it wasn't until the past year that all the stuff about Joss Whedon and Ray Fisher started coming out non-stop

I'm sure there are people who project their dislike of Whedon onto the movie.  But the movie was considered an expensive and troubled failure back when it came out.  I'll bet general audiences (who don't follow the behind-the-scenes drama of these movies) weren't even aware that Whedon was involved with the 2017 movie, since it was still credited to Snyder.

man, no-one said Snyder Cut doesn't have issues, I'm just saying you can say that Theatrical cut and Snyder cut is the same movie - it's as simple as that...

Whew!  Thank you for the calm reply!  Lol!

I can certainly understand a resistance to "Marvelizing" a DC movie.  But I didn't really interpret the humor that way since I was a fan of the Justice League/Justice League Europe comics back in the 90s when comedy was a central part of the canon.  I had already had my fill of the "dark" shade of comics in the late 80s.  Heck, even Spider-Man got pretty dark in the Kraven's Last Hunt mini-series and the Maximum Carnage crossover (although the latter was just a stupid bloodfest.)

I'm part of the "general audience" that wasn't aware of the drama and also a fan of comic book humor, so I guess that makes me one of a very select few people who enjoyed the first Justice League!?

There are subtle changes to the story, yes.  But it's the same movie except for the 10 mins of Snyder Cut at the 3.5 hour mark and the added ending scenes.  If you read the IGN article I posted a few posts back (page 15?) it outlines most-to-all of the changes.  The vast majority of them are the removal of Whedon's material and the aspect ratio/music/CG.

Basically, he added Darkseid.  That's the only *real* change he made.  But we knew Darkseid was involved the moment they used a Boom Tube in the Theatrical Cut.  Removing Whedon's material is just vanity.  It was like watching the Richard Donner Cut of Superman II and realizing that it sucks, too.  When I finally saw the fan-based Ultimate Cut and was *finally* able to watch a non-drama-based version that took the best of all of the cuts, I had a very satisfying experience.

Sure, I'll take the Snyder Cut.  But I want a Wonder Woman who preserves life; even the lives of terrorists.  And who is a believer.  And an Aquaman who talks to fish and says the opposite of what a saying is.  And a Cyborg who was "...born of Mother...a creature of chaos" who doesn't see it that way.  And a Batman who patiently tells a nearly panicky Flash to "save one person" and then he'll know what to do.  In the Theatrical Release Wonder Woman objected strongly to resurrecting Superman.  But she was a believer, then.  And on and on.  In other words: give me the humanity, also.  *These* are the reasons I've watched the original Justice League more than once.

movie discourse is very strange because so much of it happens so LOUDLY online

regular people don't really care about any of this beyond the movie entertaining them, and I'm sure there were plenty who enjoyed the 2017 movie fine. You don't make it to $657 million worldwide if the thing is a TOTAL bust

That said, that total was less than what MAN OF STEEL did worldwide while probably costing a whole lot more due to significant reshoots. And this was a movie designed to be the PEAK of the franchise. Not a good sign for WB.
