Thanks! I'm just glad (and surprised) that so many people are enjoying this.
I've been so busy lately that I've not been able to do much work on this since my last updates, but I'm determined to make some time for it this week and get things back on track!

I saw the movie on TV as a child. I always thought it was visually gorgeous (some kind on BLADE RUNNER feel in those streets). I was very young -- about 5 or 6 -- and was impressed by Sean Connery's charisma. The version I saw on french TV channel Canal+ had the fairytale ending. Years later, when the movie was broadcast again, this ending was gone and my younger brother always thought I had "dream" this ending (got my revenge since).
Anyway this 35 mm grindhouse looks fantastic. Great atmosphere. It would love to see a regrading of the special edition/renegade version to match those colors. It would be great too to create a blu-ray release with the more versions we can find.
I know, it's easy to say when you don't have the tools and the knowledge to make it yourself :-)

Thanks for the story. I didn't know this version was shown on French TV, it's always interesting to track where the different versions have cropped up
I'm still slowly working on restoring the 35mm print but as you can imagine it's going to take a lot of work. I had hoped to be able to show off a restored Reel 2 by the end of the year but a few things have eaten into my time lately and I don't think I'm going to make it.
I dream of Highlander 2 one day getting the Blade Runner treatment with a blu ray release of all the different cuts. We can dream!

Hey there! Sorry to be another first timer jumping on here, but I'm a longtime Highlander fan and the work you've done on all this looks absolutely amazing. I'd love to get the link, if it isn't too much trouble.
Thanks!
