As always, these are HDR to SDR approximations, lots of color detail and bright/dark clipping is occurring in these screenshots, as well as .jpg compression/artifacts. So it's not 100% representative of the quality of the master which should be viewed on an HDR screen with at least 300nits.

The new grades from the official 4K BD masters significantly altered the tone and colors of the originals (example being Slytherin common room being BLUE in the 4K BD, seriously... or other instances where they killed the blues entirely in the complete opposite side of the spectrum) 
However the original master had cyan/magenta tints to it so that one didn't translate well to HDR either. 
Point being I had to regrade both this movie and HP1 manually, nearly scene-by-scene which took weeks. I aimed for a look that was a mix between the original master and the regrade but while attempting to keep the best of both worlds as best as I could.

Also despite already having an extended official cut, I actually extended the movie even more using further deleted and alternate scenes. This was already present in the v1 release though.
This is also the entry that benefits the most from the expanded ratio found across the WEB-DL and DVD.
In some shots you get nearly 100% more picture, literally switching to an almost 4:3 AR, which is quite insane to me.

Of course everything has 7.1 audio now too thanks to Amadian.

Beautiful work, my brother. Man, how much this project improved, since the inception. I'll be done with the 7.1 for final movie in couple of hours, and sending to you. I was actually done with it, day before yesterday, but there is couple of sections I wanted to re-adjust, as my OCD would not give peace.

These screenshots look gorgeous! I've been looking forward towards these for the better part of a year now since finding this project, and the wait is nearly over! I've only done a recent HP marathon last month, but this just asks for another one! Keep up with the amazing work, you're nearly there!

This looks insane. I had a question though, I am an SDR peasant, so what would look better on an SDR display, the SDR versions of the v1 edition or HDR to SDR playback (maybe using madVR or something) of the v2 edition? Thanks Klexos for the work you are putting in!
