Hey! I know I am new here but I wanted to say that I am extremely excited for this project. I've been keeping tabs on it for awhile and had been always popping in every once in a blue for updates. I've noticed you found some issues with the watermark for extended scenes which must suck for you but I am positive you will figure something out. I also noticed you mentioning that the first 2 films are the only ones where they have open matte extended scenes. However I did find this. I don't know if you are aware of it, but if you are forgive me. I found this on YouTube awhile. This is an extended scene within the Half-blood Prince in Open Matte so maybe by any chance you would use this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li0pX4rzl-A

Yes, as I mentioned actually the extended scenes on movies 3-8 are not open matte but pan & scan (meaning they are just cropped compared to the widescreen versions included in the Blu-Rays, I have already checked all of them)
Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to do much if anything acceptable about the freeform logo and various ad banners that pop out in these scenes for movies 1-2 other than leave them as they are.
I am keeping my huge masterfiles though so if an alternate open matte extended surfaces with the logo in another corner I will go back and mask it.

The Theatrical version of Sorcerer, both SDR and HDR versions are wrapped up.
Currently working on the Extended and uploading the files.
Will likely release both Theatrical and Extended at the same moment since it should only take a couple more days to get the latter ready as well.

This is certainly an interesting project. I thought about doing it at some point over the past couple of years, but I never got around to it. I'll certainly be keeping my eyes on this.

Unfortunately, all 4K UHD releases of The Crimes of Grindelwald are the theatrical cut.
The extended cut was only released on standard Blu-ray, and only outside of the US.

What is the Snap? I am a bit new here.

Also, there may be 4:3 releases of Deathly Hallows 1 and 2 but they would most likely be VCDs from Asia.
VCD, however, is very low-res at only 240p. And most VCDs have subtitles unless they're from the Philippines.
I live in the Philippines but they stopped selling physical media a while ago here and finding used goods is a bit tough here.
I also found a VCD of The Sorcerer's Stone which has never-before-seen footage but I am not sure if it's letterboxed and it will still be low-res. It might be a good source for 4:3 deleted scenes.

It's very hard to find VCD copies of the Deathly Hallows films but I did find a VCD of Deathly Hallows Part 1 on sale for $3.
Unfortunately, I cannot buy them because I am saving up as much money as possible so I hope someone else from the Philippines can donate them to you.

VCDs look like FMVs for PSone games but in 24fps. If you want to see how a VCD would look like, just imagine the opening FMV for Resident Evil 1 but in 30fps.
