Classic Horror Trailers
#11
So some updates. The two DVDs I was waiting for arrived and sadly no neither have the A&C Jekyll & Hyde trailer. Oh well. But they did have other things including that Creature Walks trailer I was looking for. So here’s what I got.

The Invisible Woman- Swapped this out for the version on Creepy Classics Trailers from 1930s and 1940s DVD since the quality is somewhat better and doesn’t have the generic spliced in title card at the end.

Ghost of Frankenstein- Was able to obtain video from uploader of YouTube video and decided to switch this out. Not saying the quality will be much better (the one I ripped before looked pretty good as is) but every little bit counts Wink

The Mummy’s Ghost- Pulled from The Mummy 2008 DVD

House of Frankenstein- Pulled from Heroes of Horror DVD since the trailer is presented in full frame. The version on the official DVDs is windowboxed.

The Mummy’s Curse- Pulled from Heroes of Horror DVD since the trailer is presented in full frame. The version on the official DVDs is windowboxed.

House of Dracula- Pulled from 2014 Dracula Legacy DVD.

Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein- Did some minor editing. The version on the Coming Attractions DVD has about a second more of footage at the start of the trailer but the version on the official DVD has slightly better quality and sound. So I spliced in the beginning part of the trailer from the CA DVD up until when Dracula exits his coffin (after Costello says “...this is awful silly stuff”) and then it cuts to the trailer from the 2014 Frankenstein Legacy DVD. First few seconds of the audio comes from the CA DVD but then transitions to the trailer from the 2014 DVD.

Abbott and Costello meet the Invisible Man- Pulled from 2014 Invisible Man Legacy DVD.

Abbott and Costello meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde- Two versions. First is taken (mostly) from the Monsterama DVD. However the opening shot is spliced in from that YouTube video I shared. Additionally for quality purposes I replaced the audio of the whole trailer with the YouTube trailer audio. The YT trailer actually has somewhat better audio than the trailer on the Monsterama DVD. The second trailer comes from the 2015 Abbott and Costello meet the Monsters DVD.

Creature from the Black Lagoon- Two versions. One is pulled from the Coming Attractions Vol. 2 DVD while the other is pulled from the 2000 DVD. I didn’t include the three scoreless TV spots for spacing purposes.

Revenge of the Creature- Ripped from Amazon Prime using Tubedigger.

Abbott and Costello meet the Mummy- Pulled from the 2015 Abbott and Costello meet the Monsters DVD.

The Creature Walks Among Us- Two versions. One from the Creepy Classics Trailers from 1950s and 1960s DVD, the other from the 2014 Creature Legacy DVD.

Threw a few more in. Likely will have two cuts of this. For the longer cut I’ve added the following.

Invisible Ray- From 2005 Bela Lugosi Collection DVD

Black Friday- From 2005 Bela Lugosi Collection DVD

Horror Island- From 2009 Universal Horror Archive DVD

The Black Cat (1941)- From 2009 Universal Horror Archive DVD

Night Monster- From 2009 Universal Horror Archive DVD

The Climax- From Heroes of Horror DVD

She-Wolf of London- From 2014 Wolf Man Legacy DVD

These are the last that I’m adding for this video. It’s already over an hour and a half which is longer than I wanted.

Jungle Captive- Taken from Coming Attractions DVD. The trailer is included on the 2020 Universal Horror Vol 5 BD but again I don’t have the release nor the means to rip it.

Rear Window- Pulled from 2011 Hitchcock DVD collection.

Vertigo- Pulled from 2011 Hitchcock DVD collection.

Psycho- Pulled from 2011 Hitchcock DVD collection. I only included the original Theatrical trailer. I left out the reissue trailers for timing reasons.

The Birds- Pulled from 2011 Hitchcock DVD collection.

Munster Go Home!- Added this one mostly for a laugh. Pulled from The Munsters America's First Family of Fright DVD.

Jaws- This is skipping further than I intended but I had this one trailer for Jaws saved on my computer that I captured from Xfinity OnDemand months back and decided to make use of it here.
