Can someone please look into upgrading the Back to the future trilogy special effects that really stick out badly. I think it might only be the flying car scenes and the scenes with the hoverboard. if anyone knows of any other scenes could you please look into those as well and use the uhd as a source and for the audio use the laserdiscs theatrical audio.

Some scenes with gunshots had original sounds replaced with modern, "more immersive" sounding ones.

I don't really have the know how on fixing visual effects. Plus, that would be considered an alteration as it's changing how they originally were (not matter how great or sloppily done).

I suppose you could add film grain which is always expected to be present in theaters and help cover up shortcomings of effect shots.
That's the problem with 4k. It's too clean and not at all what the original filmmakers intended their films to look like.

Have you actually watched the discs Jedi? Did you notice the effects? Reviewers often mention things like this to add some balance to their reviews (as they usually gush over everything else about a new transfer).
I know it’s hard once you’ve read a review but try and watch it without thinking about if and see if you actually notice anything.
