Just thought I'd add my encouragement to this thread. You seem like an amazingly dedicated person to have committed so much time over the years to this. So many of us are happy to see you taking as much time as needed to get this right, so no pressure or rush! I've no idea if this is allowed, but is there any way I can buy you a coffee? It's not finished yet, I'd go back and read some of the forum.

Klexos (the author) has been asking people repeatedly to stop badgering him about accessing the project which he's stated on multiple occasions: is unfinished, and that he will make an announcement when it is done.

This constant pestering has deterred him from responding to messages entirely, and completely justifiably, as you could've found any of this information if you had bothered to take momentary glance at the forum before soliciting.

You'll know when it's done because he'll say so... that is, if he hasn't already abandoned the project all together due to harassment.

Admittedly most people who work on projects like this don't get angry when people ask what's going on. With Star Wars Despecialized, Harmy gladly interacted with the community and never got angry or threatened to stop the project. He even regularly posted updates and snippets of scenes he was working on. He also released each movie as he finished it, including multiple versions.

Klexos has taken on an absolutely MASSIVE project. Last week I was talking with a hardcore Harry Potter fan (tattoos and all). She had no idea about this project and almost lost her mind. I explained that she needed to be patient along with the rest of us.

My hope is that Klenox is encouraged by all the enthusiasm. Everyone wishes that the Ultimate Edition was indeed the definitive version. It isn't. That's why we're pumped about this project.

Here's hoping he decides to just start releasing each movie individually. I can't imagine the time it takes to do all 9 movies. Additionally anyone who has read back in the thread would hear references to an initial early version. People who ask about it get chewed out. With Harmy and Star Wars Despecialized everyone shared every version as it came out. Heck I'd volunteer hosting space if that was an issue.

Entitled people with that attitudine like you is exactly what makes me not even think about picking up and wasting my time on useless projects like these anymore.
And people who can't take 5 minutes to read the last bunch of pages on this thread where I stated to not send me link requests every. Single. Post. I made.

If people truly care and want this and are interested surely they'd take the time to do that much to see what's up. I've been receiving the same hundreds of braindead link requests for over 2 years. Sick of it.

Believe it or not I value my time and I've got bigger issues to attend to than offering free customer service for a project I am doing for free in my spare time.

This just further confirms to me that I should had just kept it for myself all along.
Instead of bitching here about how I do my work why don't you go and do it yourself.
Or maybe go ask "Harmy" to do it.

Update: I have requested the deletion of this thread and my account, wether this will be granted by the admins or not I advise anybody reading this to not expect an update on this project anymore and to not bother contacting me about it be it here or reddit or anywhere else.

As an additional response to this, I have modified group promotions on the forum. Previously, it was enough to simply post at least once to get promoted to Newbie rank, opening access to PM functionality. Clearly it's not sufficient, so starting from today, an additional requirement is being registered on the forum for at least 60 days. This will hopefully filter out people "joining" the forum only to clog other members' inboxes with their requests
