StudioCanal will release on 4K Blu-ray Russell Mulcahy's classic film Highlander (1986), starring Christopher Lambert, Roxanne Hart, Clancy Brown, Sean Connery, and Beatie Edney. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on October 31.
The 4K Blu-ray Collector's Edition will feature brand-new artwork from celebrated artist Matt Ferguson, a 64-page booklet, prequel comic #1 Way of the Sword, a set of badges, art cards and poster. The two-disc set will also include a wealth of new extras including the first extensive 'Making of' documentary featuring all of the main cast and crew.
A SteelBook Edition will be released in France later this year, with standard editions following in Australia and New Zealand.
Synopsis: Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery star in the epic tale of immortality that launched one of the most beloved action-adventure series in film and TV history. After Scottish clansman Connor MacLeod (Lambert) discovers his true identity as a member of a legion of immortals, he embarks on a legendary journey spanning continents and centuries, eventually landing in modern-day New York City.
