I think that Amazon JAP looks better than Online actually, check out preserved details. Could just mask over the hardcoded subtitles with the Online copy and maybe Bluray for ultimate remaster

Lately I've used both Korean (with hardsubs) and Russian sources for my A:C IMAX, to get an higher quality than single source; the hardsubs in the Korean source were replaced with the Russian "patched" in, so the result is, let's say, 95% 50/50 and 5% just Russian, but it was seamless; more, adding the real 35mm grain plate helped even more to increase perceived details.
So, I'd say this: if the sources could be compared, quality wise, it's better to merge them and add a grain plate, because result is almost always better (very often noticeably) than the single source.
Just realised the location caption segments are zoomed in from the widescreen ratio to remove the English hardcoded captions so they could add the foreign captions. Replaced these with the 3d bluray with 2:40 ratio black borders and they show much more info left and right and blend in with the open matte ratio pretty well, just wish I was capable of colour correcting them to the Amazon to make them perfect.
Also, the web-dl is missing the yellow filter look of the 3d bluray which is a major plus. Color timing looks alot better due to this,

Color timing looks alot better due to this, well, i browsed it a bit, and I didn't feel it's missing. it's there. edit: well, ok, it's just a tad better than the 3d bluray. web-dl https://i.imgur.com/RLadi9W.jpg Blurays http://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&a=0&d...94&i=7&l=0 It's evident in his shirt, that it's more yellow in the bluray. But still, I felt that my eyes hurt, especially in bright scenes.

Personally think its alot better than the bluray, I inserted both the English intro text and captions from the bluray and the yellow (golden hue) is really noticeable on the inserts especially against the pure white of the rest of the credits, also the contrast, brightness of the web-dl is alot better than the bluray which has scenes with blown highlights.

Colek or Jerryshadoe, would either of you still have the hdtv capture as I would like to add the English intro and captions into the Amazon WEB-DL so the the added footage is Open Matte like the Amazon.
I've just redone the Bluray inserts using both Premiere and RE:MATCH plug-in to try and get the colour difference closer (not brilliant but better than the bluray color-timing) but the widescreen still stands out to much against the Open Matte. Also does anyone have the delays needed to get the LD PCM mateched to the 3D bluray which is frame matched with the WEB-DL outside of the extra 3d credits at the end. Thanking you all in advance.

According to some on the BD forums the TrueHD 5.1 is the LD 5.1 from the 70mm master and the DTS HDMA is some overdone video version.
Is this accurate at all?
