That's part of what I'm asking though. You can't just assume the blu-ray is a remix and that the LD sounds the best. Quick spectrogram comparisons s, even if they aren't level matched, can often help a lot in knowing what is what.

I just checked the blu-ray and the surrounds are cloned/identical. But there is a fair amount of noise reduction on the speech sections with room for improvement.
