Haven’t seen this movie since I rented it at the video store as a kid. Look forward to watching it again! When I’m able to pm, I’ll definitely be checking this out. Thanks!

One of my favorite Jackie films. I happened upon my first viewing when flipping through some channels one night and recognized Jackie (when he was with the tribes people) and just loved the film. I've had the US DVD (which was ok) and I have now the Australia Import blu-ray edition, which is a few steps better in some respects but not really better in many ways as noted here. I hope at some point to be eligible to PM and get a chance to view Film Whisperer's wonderful sounding work effort for this and other titles. Amazing. Thanks.

Hi. Just registered just for this movie, and can't PM yet.
Similar situation here too. Was looking for this movie, and all versions I find are cut ones, and it breaks all movie for me. I clearly remember how MC spoke in Heli with other team members before crash and also his time with natives.
OP if you can, send me PM, I'd appreciate.

Awesome. I was watching blu ray with my kids and the whole time thinking this pacing is off and something is missing. Great work.

This is amazing, I can’t believe I found this as this is my all time favorite film and I always preferred my old Hong Kong dvd that isn’t even anamorphic over the newer bluray releases that butcher the story. I just registered to the forum, so I guess 60 days until I can enjoy this film in a nice format once again. There are so many great commercial Jackie Chan restorations on 4K and bluray in recent years that I really don’t understand how they can ignore this classic.

It's not a matter of ignoring it. It's a matter of rights/licensing.
