And here comes the theatrical cut. For more information, see here: https://fanrestore.com/thread-6390.html
... with a trailer I recreated for the occasion, or at least a look-alike with some liberties I had to take:
Video: 2009 Warner Blu-ray plus one shot taken from the UHD and another upscaled from the DVD by @ alleycat, the whole thing regraded to emulate the look of an original 35mm film print from 1995.
Audio: English PCM 2.0 (Laserdisc), English Dolby 5.1 (Laserdisc), English Dolby 5.1 (DVD), French Dolby 5.1 (DVD), German Dolby 5.1 (DVD), Italian Dolby 5.1 (DVD), Italian dts 5.1 (DVD) from @ alleycat's project.
Subtitles: French (rearranged), English. I don't deal with proofreading OCR in other languages, so those interested in them will have to do their thing on their own.
Available on demand to regular members, meaning no newbies who need to get involved before asking for stuff.

Yeah, ever since 2015, I never could go back to the horrendous video look offerings. It's probably the closest thing to the original film look we'll get until, knock on wood, a properly fanmade 35mm scan surfaces.

It's funny, for more than 20 years now, I've been wondering if the TV series pilot of 24 had recycled this helicopter fly-by shot from Heat and, as it turns out... no. It's either a similar recreation or they bought another take from Regency:

Hey, guys. I was provided with the Japanese DVD which contains a dts 5.1 track for the theatrical cut. As I'm not skilled to deal with a resync beyond 2 channels by myself, I would need an audio resync specialist to volunteer. It's not a simple matter of initial delay sadly, I could have dealt with that obviously. Still, it's a track that would be cool to add as an option here. Reach me by PM. Thanks.
EDIT: it's done.

As @ alleycat mentionned in the Shoutbox, the Prince Charles in London will show Heat on 35mm film 5 times from now to mid-december. Londonian members, it's a can't-miss. It's your only chance to actually experience the real Heat. Go and report back to tell me how close I made it here. My 35mm experience was in 2015, so it's not as fresh a memory as it used to be.
Many other very cool 35 and 70mm events there: https://princecharlescinema.com/seasons-events/3570mm/

As a newbie, you can't. Read the rules. First, you need to become an active member on this site. Take part in conversations and, at some point, you'll get that kind of stuff. You can't just ask for stuff and expect to get those right away. You have mistaken this forum with a torrent site apparently.
