screenshots really looking good, thats an interesting thing to hear about the Californian weather. Makes sense
Yes. And keeping discussing with Gemini, he convinced me to try a Cineon Log workflow instead of rec.709 and to use the Printing Lights keypad. Apparently, it's supposed to be more cinematic as in more "photochemical" that way as it deals with cyan, yellow and magenta. So it’s very likely that I'll restart again using that method for an even better result.

Hm...are you working with .cin image sequence?

I have no idea what .cin is. I'm working on a ProRes conversion of the 2015 Blu-ray. But Gemini advises me to set my project color space like I reported above. I copied his instructions, so I'll try. It can't hurt to try. I'm not overwriting the 7 minutes I showed you above that I already did in rec.709, so if I don't like the Cineon Log method, I can go back to the ongoing rec.709 project.

Good news. I recently learned to deal with 5.1 (even 7.1) in DaVinci Resolve. Meaning I can now edit in multichannel, swap channels, etc. Meaning I'll be able to open this project with the vintage TriStar logo before the Carolco logo and add it audiowise as well on my own to the whole set of tracks I'll include in the final project. They simply all will be in FLAC 5.1 or 2.0.
