Oh my. So much for assuming this would be a quick one since the film duration is only approx 70 min!
Thanks for all your hard work so far.

Sounds good and your assistance is greatly appreciated. I had a feeling part of this would be challenging because even when I sent the VHS tracks for Dracula and Frankenstein to the user on OT he had some difficulty with the syncing. Just the same I'm ecstatic to see what u come up with!

Would this be of any potential use? I know it's probably missing the restored scenes though.

Resuming work on this right now and... there's a line a dialog missing on the side 1 to side 2 change (about 3 seconds of audio) that I will have to re-insert from the BD audio after I match it as close as possible to the LD... Damn... already had to do this for the uncensoring earlier (so I know, roughly, what steps to take, but still... damn) Damn!....
@ SilverWook - I think the LD audio is better than what we would get from the 16mm, although I may be wrong...

Definitely looks neat but I couldn't afford it at this time and I don't have ways of scanning that myself. And for the basis of this project it would have been pretty useless. Here's what the seller noted in the description.
"Note: This print DOES NOT have the restored newly added scenes like on the DVD (God comment & throwing the little girl in the lake) this the original old school print."

If you'd like I'll send you the VHS audio if you wish to insert the line from that since the quality of that will likely blend better with the LD audio than the BD audio

I should have read the whole auction listing I guess.
IIRC, some early Discovision titles have little technical goofs like that. I also spotted this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FRANKENSTEIN-BET...1986484317

I actually have that Frankenstein Beta. Not sealed though. I don't have a Betamax player either unfortunately. I do have a VHS version with the same artwork although I'm certain it's the same print used on the 1991 VHS.

yeah, PM me a link to your VHS audio. The results I have so far are "ok" if nothing better can be found, but I wanna see if that VHS audio might be a better fit
I will continue working on the rest though.

Cool. I'll send it tonight
