RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK LaserDisc audio gap(s)

It's AviSynth.  You can use BeHappy to apply the downmix if you like: it's essentially a GUI for the audio side of AviSynth's functionality.  Be aware that the order in which the options appear under the Digital Signal Processing section [3] matches the order in which the functions are applied, so you sometimes have to move them up and down with the buttons when the order matters -- e.g. Downmix then Normalize then Convert Sample... (depending on what you are doing).

I favor DP1 for this sort of work because in my experience it matches the downmixing used on LDs well.  Let me know if you get stuck.  It's pretty intuitive though.

Ah, of course it bloody is, I should have guessed that. Sorry, I've only just scratched the surface of AviSynth+ (using AvsPmod for video stuff, not anything to do with audio) so it didn't immediately spring to mind. Thanks!

I've synced an existing bit-perfect audio capture of the Dolby Surround PCM audio track from the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" 1992 LaserDisc to my personal rip of the 2012 Blu-ray. I've removed the aforementioned two-frame gap that occurs right after Indy says, "that's it," and slowed down the entire audio track by -0.016 percentage using the Change Tempo effect in Audacity. The end result matched the Blu-ray's picture perfectly.
