Moshrom shared this on his bad audio remixes list blog. I think this kinda says it all too.

So some updates. Late last year Moshrom created a sync track using LilBrutto's capture. Ive taken his track and made some further adjustments and am gonna prepare a folder for those interested. They will include LilBrutto's capture (in case anyone wants to make their own track), Moshrom's track, and two of my own tracks. They're both the same but one I increased the volume by 10db while the other has the unaltered volume setting. Shoot me a PM if interested. I'm assuming Jerry is not returning which is own choice and we must respect that.

File Specs for those interested.
LilBrutto capture: File Type: wav Size: 348 MB (File 1), 481 (File 2) Bit Rate: 1411kbps Description: Two files. Captured from 1993 Japan LD as is. No sync work done. Lacks line “Now I know what it feels like to be God”. Moshrom Synced version: File Type: FLAC Size: 113 MB Bit Rate: 225kbps Input: 2.0 16-bit LPCM, 44.1 kHz - bit-perfect Output: 1.0 16-bit FLAC, 44.1 kHz, ~226 kbps Synced to: Universal blu-ray My versions: Version 1. File Type: wav Size: 708 MB Bit Rate: 1411kbps Description: I used Moshrom’s version for the bulk but made some tweaks. I used a VHS capture to fix the delayed fade in of the track as well as fixing the transition from side 1 of the LD to side 2. I also did some tweaks to the ‘God’ line. The change of quality in that instance is still apparent but that unfortunately will be the case regardless of how its edited. Also used LilBrutto's track to fix some of Moshrom's edits in two or three spots, not much. Version 2. Description: Same specs and details as version one but with volume increased to 10db. I do wanna take the time to thank those who helped out here. LilBrutto and Moshrom, with your help we were able to create a track for this film much closer to what I was hoping Universal were gonna give us in 2012. Thanks guys!
And of course jerryshadoe. Thank you for your efforts. It’s unfortunate we were not able to see (or hear rather) the result of your tedious work on this project but we also respect and understand that certain circumstances happen in life that require other aspects to be put on hold for extended periods of time, sometimes even indefinitely. It happens. Just the same thank you for your efforts which you never know may ‘come to life’ in the future. Thanks everyone! Good work! Thanks given by: Lil Brutto

So I’m actually in the process of working on my own sync attempt mainly for my own curiosity since I figured out how to manually adjust speed for video and audio tracks in this program I’m using. This isn’t taking anything away from anyone who’s contributed to this project, I just wanna see what I’m able to do on my own. Anyways so far I have this.
1. The first few seconds I will be using the VHS audio up to til right after Van Sloan says “How do you do?” to restore some audio crackle at the start of the track missing on the LD audio (I mentioned this in a prior post). After that it cuts to the LD audio. 2. The LD audio more or less syncs up with everything up until the end of the lecture/brain stealing scene where I noticed there’s an edit in the LD audio during the transition to the next scene. I’ll likely fix this with the VHS audio as well. That’s about all I have for now but I will continue to post! Thanks given by: Stamper , crampedmisfit1990 , Turisu , monks19

Some quick updates. To keep this fresh I started this over completely from scratch including redoing parts one and two (yes I used the VHS audio to fix the transition). I also decide to ‘up’ the LD audios volume to be more on par with the VHS audio. Anyways I basically have it in sync up til when Henry and Fritz come down the stairs to tend to the people at the door. There it’s getting a little tricky but I’m trying some things. Have work during the day tomorrow but hopefully will work on this for a bit tomorrow night. I’ll keep y’all posted!

Ooooooffff definitely need a break from that! Anyways that bit where I said it goes out of sync around the point that Henry and Fritz come down the stairs took me a bit of time and editing to get right but so far I think it’s coming along ok. Will definitely have more time tomorrow to focus on this but wanted to give a quick update. Anyways have a good day for now everyone!

So a quick update. My wrist was hurting like hell today so I didn’t get to spend as much time on this as I wanted to but I messed with it for a bit. Anyways I basically got it all to sync properly from the time Henry leads the guests upstairs to the actual creation portion of the scene. Somewhere in that section it starts to go a bit out of sync so I did some tinkering with that.
Now for the subject of the “God” line. Well not much to say. I decided to use the BD audio again for that section as I did when re-editing Moshrom’s track. Sadly there is no “flawless” way to restore this line but I did the best I could. Technically some audio is lost during the transition of the creation scene to the scene that introduces Baron Frankenstein. Nothing crucial, just had to drop some audio crackle during the transition/black screen to keep the next scene in sync. Anyways there’s where I’m at presently. I also had gone back and did some adjusting to an earlier section of the film. Hopefully will tackle a bit tomorrow either before and/or after work but until then good night!
