Be sure to fire them up once in a while to keep them limber!

Another thing to consider with laserdisc players is that A LOT of them share internal workings as the chassis design would go through many product lines with changes made to circuitry, picture audio processing etc. Therefore a deck can in some cases be repaired with components from a lower range (and far cheaper) player. Check your service manual!

Ive got various Back to The Future NTSC laserdiscs in english and Japanese.
Anyone willing to help in the states? I'd like to get a good video rip from the same person doing perfect audio.

Hi all,
So I finally got a new PC capable to proper audio/video editing and am keen to buy a few laserdiscs to sync the audio on. Just wondering if there are people on here still able & willing to do the capturing? Looking on eBay there are NTSC ones I would like to pick up both in the US and in Europe so would be good to have someone in each continent to send them to. Thanks
