What's happening forum. Usually for these type of things I would conduct my own research but this film has so many disc releases with very similar specs I would really prefer to not waste my disk space and time sifting through them.
I am trying to find the original 5.1 mix for The Fifth Element and so far I've narrowed down the following discs as possibly having it:
1. Laserdisc AC-3
2. Superbit DVD DTS
3. Original/First Remastered Blu-Ray LPCM
I'm tempted to sync the Laserdisc AC-3 and call it a day since that is undoubtedly the most possible candidate due to trends with other AC-3 discs and proximity to release but the possibility of a higher quality lossy or lossless source being available is an enticing one. If anyone of you guys have looked into this yourselves and/or have tips for spotting Theatrical digital surround mixes, let me know. Cheers!
