I bought the Koch (German) BD of City Slickers because it has better encoding than the Shout edition, forgetting to check the audio specs. Turns out the Koch disc only has a 5.1 remix and is missing the 2.0 stereo that Shout includes. Do you happen to know if the LD stereo audio will sync to the German disc? It's the same master, but I thought I'd ask anyways. Thanx.

Anyone have Rad, or The Wizard?
Both have 2.0 tracks on Blu-ray, but curious how they compare to the LDs as I like to rewatch them fairly often. Have been searching for the Japan LDs for years but have never come across them for a decent price.

You probably already know this, but CW was shown in theatres with a DTS 5.1 track. I think only the Dolby mixes were stereo. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I have the 5.1 track from the bluray synced to the UHD if anyone is interested. I don't know how close it is to the theater mix but assume it's closer than the Atmos mix that came with the UHD.

Yeah really just did the Dolby Stereo Mix for completionists sake - I'd imagine most people who saw it in the cimema in 1993 would have heard that mix as not many places would have been set up for 5.1

The UK Blu-ray 5.1 muxes pefectly with the UHD but the US needs a little syncing which is what I assume uVSthem has done.

Hopefully someone can get the Cinema DTS at some point but at least there are a few options for now.
