I will be ripping the Enter the Dragon laserdisc when my audio capture device gets here. The other one was stolen from my apartment lobby which sucks.

I'm also thinking about grabbing the original analog-only laserdisc for comparisons sake.

Possible I suppose, although Bigrob did say that none of the blus/DVDs he knew of had the same level of bass

I've been toying with a custom project syncing the original mono and good subtitles to the Japanese BD of Skinny Tiger Fatty Dragon. The BD only has a bad 5.1 mix (though a later print has a 2.0 downmix of the 5.1). I have access to the Mei Ah DVD mono, but I'm curious if anyone might have the HK laserdisc? I've heard its Cantonese track is great!

Has anyone heard to laserdisc versions of Godfather 1 & 2? How do they compare to the mono mixes on the Blu-rays?

Good questions! One of my next projects will likely be buying and ripping every mono laserdisc version of Godfather 1. If anyone has any information though, that would be great.

That is super likely but I'm willing to throw $2 or $3 at an analog-only pressing just in case.

The 1.33 reissues of 1-2 have pcm mono. They sound okay but I need to recheck them. I also have a beat up version of the box that has 1-3+ the docu.
