So I've had a look around and it looks like either of these Australian DVDs have the DTS track and the production notes:

You have them, or you need them? I think I have both... somewhere.. down.. the piles...
Edit: yeah, just found both under a pile of DVDs... (Uhm, why do I have 4 times US/CA Temrinator 2 Extreme Edition DVD sets?)

How are you going on with the 'Lost Cut'? I tried a composite, but it was very difficult due to speed, edit and frame rate differences. It's great that a better version appeared after all these years. Thanks given by: alleycat

Just checked, both discs seem to be identical pressings, just different labeling. Both have the exact same size.

Next stage is to take the uncut shots from the blu, downscale them to 720p and black off the edges, color grade it to match the DVD and try and get the audio to match - that then will be a fully uncut 4:3 version with LD audio. Then it's a matter of inserting and grading the extra stuff from the lost cut. So this will eventually be a kitchen sink version as opposed to a recreation of the lost cut. The big problem I've ran into so far is using Dr Dre to grade the lost cut shots with the DVD, I keep getting a load of artifacts even when aligning the best I can and setting the smoothing parameter to 1 - but I'm sure it's fixable.

Almost 18 minutes is cut from the version on YouTube, mostly the licensed musics and french naration.
