Event Horizon (LD-1st gen DVD Regrade)

This is a place holder for the work I'm doing to regrade the new Shout BD. The new Shout looks nice but I'm not in love with it's warmer tones. Not saying its wrong but I prefer the older BD, DVDs but especially the older laserdisc master which was very blue in comparison. I found the 1st generation non-anamorphic DVD which uses the same LD master but is more "stable" to regrade from.

The video regrading was done via automatic scripting. Once that was complete I modified the black level and shadows to more conform with the DVD's levels. Right now I am going through the entire project shot by shot and fixing any shot/scene the strayed too far from the DVD. The video will be synced to the Shout BD.

After that I tried to add every soundtrack I had access to. I'm hoping to find the LD's PCM 2.0 (and 5.1?) track but that might not happen. If you have a copy and can capture I would love the help. Also I will include the lossless tracks from the Shout BD (5.1 and 2.0) but I'm not sure about the Paramount BD tracks. Beside those I'm including the soundtrack from all the DVDs I have.

9. DTS-HD MA 2.0 (from the Shout BD)

Well, being myself so lazy lately to not continue any of my project (I know, I know, but I'm the first to admit it, so I'm half forgiven, in a way) I hereby give you my absolution... no, wait, I concede my... wait... OK, you have my green light - not that you need it, though!

I thought to do an UAR version, but I don't remember if I posted this idea before.

Never actually seen this one but sounds like I'd enjoy it. Like the look of your work as always PDB.

It’s not for everyone tastes but it’s a fun B grade movie with A level production and a fantastic cast.

Think of it as Alien meets Hellraiser.

I just love the complete audio selection on your projects. I'd very enthusiastic to be able to watch one of your projects!

If I'll get back to this project, it will be both regrading and UAR, so basically different projects.
Maybe I'll end using your own as the letterbox source!

This project is cancelled for now as I lost weeks of work on a hard drive that just died. Sorry.
