This started as an audio project but I'm not 100% about the color. Some screenshots below, LD top, then R1 DVD then French Blu Ray. 

When I first watched the blu ray I felt it came across too teal in places, if you look at the second set of images the background is very blue in the DVD and LD but teal in the Blu. Same with the pillow in the first shot. However the LD looks too red to me. DVD is brighter than the Blu Ray but apart from those blue shots they don't differ too much in terms of color. 

So personally I'm thinking it might be best to stick with the colors from the blu ray, maybe using the DVD color in some of those blue scenes. Possibly brightening up the blu ray a little. 

Just wondered what others thought?

I'm not so sure.
I'm going to go with the blu, the LD and the DVD have to much red in them.
Everything Ive learned over the years here suggests that a teal biased transfer is not necessarily revisionist.

The Ld is correct but pumped red for the SD master style.
Dial that back and it's there.

Blu is a mess

The French blu ray is missing English subtitles for the French dialogue moments. I made my own - which was a bit of a hassle. I ended up getting a French guy to translate a line or 2 that was unique to this "director's cut" version. This was all a few years back and I dunno if there's an alternative source for the subs nowadays but if you wanna take a look at mine, I should be able to dig them up.

As for the colours, maybe you could try asking Roger Avary himself? His e-mail should be rogerATavaryDOTcom, from memory. He once expressed interest in my subtitled copy but I never heard back from him once the project was done.
