[Request] Babes in Toyland (1986) - 1986 US TV Broadcast Version Reconstruction in HD
#1
Hi,

I own the 1991 Orion VHS videotape of the so-bad-it's-good Christmas TV movie, Babes in Toyland (1986), with Drew Barrymore and Keanu Reeves.

Since there's no official Blu-ray or DVD release of this TV movie as of yet, I was wondering if someone could recreate the original 1986 US broadcast version in HD with a 1.33:1 1080p web rip/delogoed HDTV rip of the TV movie and a VHS videotape recording of the original 1986 US broadcast ripped, cleaned up, delogoed, AI upscaled to 1080p, and color-corrected to match the restored footage, complete with the original Orion intro after the MGM intro and the original Orion outro before the MGM outro.

I would like to have the recreation for a future project of a custom Blu-ray set (which will be available as ISO files) of the 4 screen versions of the original 1903 operetta Babes in Toyland by Victor Herbert and Glen MacDonough - Hal Roach Studios, 1934; Disney, 1961; Orion, 1986; and MGM, 1997. The Blu-ray set will be called "Babes in Toyland Collection".

The commercial breaks from the VHS videotape recording of the original 1986 US TV broadcast would be included as a bonus feature, of course.

Thanks,
James

Prime Video US has this in 1080p24 with the original 1.37 ratio (it was previously cropped to widescreen). PQ looked quite nice considering the blocky MGMHD widescreen rip out there and I saw no watermarks as far as i can tell.

As it was a TV movie, i dont think it had an Orion Pictures logo at the beginning so it only has the Orion Television indent at the end.

I'm aware that Amazon Prime Video US has this. If anyone could rip it with an Amazon Prime download program and PM a download link for it to me, that'd be nice.
If it's on MySpleen, that's great, but I don't have an account there.
