Laserdisc Collection for Sale
#11
If no one here wants them, you might be able to find someone on the LDDB forums that would give you some money for it. Or can you use them as a tax write-off if you give them to the charity shop Not sure how tax laws work in the UK.

Not looking for big money. Just want to see them go to a good home.

I've made a list. About 50 titles or so. If anyone's interested PM me.

Doesn't seem like there's any interest so I'll be taking them to the charity shop during the coming week.

Just posting this in case anyone missed it or forgot.

not sure why you wanna wait for people to PM you about them. i'm not looking to buy, i'm just trying to determine if what you have is garbage or not. 50 NTSC titles could literally be anything. most likely you should donate them, but no one has any idea unless you post a list.

Is the list garbage, then?

I realise golden age movies aren't sought after, but I thought there was a lot of quality there.

Are you sure you want to get rid of them and not find a LD player to start a collection instead? ;D

There's definitely some value in the NTSC discs, but nothing crazy and as they are older movies, probably a lot harder to find a buyer/taker especially outside the US.

As for the PAL discs, I would urge you to at least keep these or try to find a home for them, especially the ones I bolded. Looks like most of these are later releases (95+) and being PAL means there's probably a lot less copies out there. I still see LDs at my local record/DVD shops so if you have anything like that in your area they might buy them off you, or at least take them off your hands.
