FrankT, would you be willing to put together complimentary artwork for PDB's release .... maybe we could figure out a way to link my release and his as companion projects?  I think a good basis for the art might be the Japan White Box Alien Saga LD set artwork.  It would seem like the perfect canvas for some companion ideas.

Thought you'd never ask! I had a few things in mind, I could do the White Box set cover if you wanted, but I can also do the '95 LaserDisc and '84 CBS-FOX covers in whatever size you may specify. I've thought about giving the former a nice little jewel case size, but I'm sure you'll be wanting the standard Blu-ray size. Oh, also I can do the '80 Magnetic VHS cover. Heck, if you really wanted, I could do the whole lot!

Well since you suggested the White Box Saga set as a basis, I think a combination of all of them should work. I'll see what I can cook up.

Here we are; I've spent all day working on this, so hopefully it should be worth it. The covers are intended to be printed back-to-back, so you may need to tinker with your printer settings to get it right. I know I'll have to do it.

Have only one question: Why is OT being "advertised" on the cover? I thought these releases weren't suppose to be associated with fanres or OT; or is it just fanres?

That's a good question, actually. The idea I think I had was to give these covers a sort of... "brand recognition" thing. Since people looking for the releases themselves will probably find themselves at OT one way or another.
