I watched the 25th Anniversary DVD tonight and researched to find out there is no Blu-ray with the restored 139 minute cut, just the 117 minute theatrical version.

I did read that for a time the master for the DVD had an iTunes HD stream made from it that's no longer officially available anywhere.

Anyone know of or working on a restoration using that and the Blu-ray? It's just a shame this movie seems to have been mistreated by Disney.

A good beginning would be to check if the Deleted/Extended Scenes and Songs are 1080p on the BD on the extras? I'm aware that they should be presented with 2.0 audio [normal when checking out the extras]

Then you sync the the Extended Cut DVD 5.1 Track (for uninterrupted sound presentation), due to the fact that the DTS-HD Master Audio is from the 1971 Theatrical Version

I have a 12gb file of the HD extended cut with subtitles. I was very thankful to find it knowing Disney decided to bury it. It should absolutely be preserved. Message me if you need it.
