Doubt it. Warner Bros is one of the laziest distributors in existance!
Is the black crush that bad on the BR as opposed to previous releases?

I'm not sure youtube videos are a good source for an example. Do you even own the Bluray set to know these issues are real?

The blu-rays look fine to me, the dvd's are just old, overly-bright transfers.
