I have the Open Matte DVD of Spider-Man if you're still looking for it.

You could create your own topic discussing the merits of your idea.

Is there any chance you can share this technique? Or alternatively do an upscale for me?

Not minding either option but you obviously know quite a bit more about encoding than I do which I honestly know very little about.

I have a project very close to completion which has been gathering dust. And i would love to do a decent upscale on it. To do it justice. Actually i want to stick to DVD projects at this time but really want to learn how to get similar / same results to what you get.

But if you want to keep this technique secret then I do not mind but I thought i would ask you politely for a few tips atleast.

The film has jaggies mind.

I can try to help you Ronster (hope you know avisynth) but I can guarantee it's not going do anything for aliasing.

What are you upscaling?

Enter ghe Dragon main source a rare hybrid of the Special edition and theatrical cut that came free with a magazine. (Diagostini) Although i have also edited color corrected and redone the soundmix and extended it slightly. It is 1hr 39 minutes PAL mixgure of sources between the various uk and hong kong edition. I have some sound and a couple of shots to do. It's practically done but not quite.

I have avisynth and i am practically clueless on it.... So i would need some sort of script? And render to what an avi file?

I think it would be good to get some advice on the encode as i am at a loss as to how to handle this....

Should I start a thread and get advice there?

Perhaps I should just keep it DVD quality?

how do these Upscales look on an OLED/CRT? I've seen a video of some DVD sourced Content (Hogan's Heroes DVD RIP) on an LG OLED that looked like it was native HD!!!!!
