Doubt it. Warner Bros is one of the laziest distributors in existance!
Is the black crush that bad on the BR as opposed to previous releases?

I preserve movies as they first appeared in Italy.

yes part 4 looks the worse 5,6,3,and 2 don't look as bad but it's still there. look on youtube if see the rick you meatball scene it looks too dark

I'm not sure youtube videos are a good source for an example. Do you even own the Bluray set to know these issues are real?

The Dark parts are very dark and Shadows are very prominent on the BluRay:

The blu-rays look fine to me, the dvd's are just old, overly-bright transfers.
