I'm currently working on a trailer re-edit for the US trailer of Dead Alive.
So far, things look pretty good in the editing department  Big Grin
But I need a bit of help for the credits of the trailer. If someone can jump in
and help re-create them, that would be fantastic. The credits are static, so
no animation is needed.

Progress update

The trailer is 99.9% identical. just one scene was shortened in the movie - A close up from a door (time index 0:22).
I needed to repeat the last 11 frames once. But the edit point is not noticeable.

The trailer on the DVD/Blu-ray is actually cropped on the sides. The Blu-ray opens them up, so you get to see more Big Grin

BTW, was there ever a trailer from New Zealand or is this the only official trailer made for the movie?

There was a great trailöer for that movie... I remember it from an VHS copy...

Well done, just one question:
The bottom line, is it really "Produced" and "Director"?
On the first piccture you posted, it could also be "Producer".

Checking this youtube trailer, it seems more to be "Producer":

Looks great.

I still hope that someday some company brings the unrated Version into HD... but, I don't think that it will happen...

I'm currently working on a revisit: Color correct it to the German DVD, which is much closer to the theatrical look and increase the size of the credits.
I'll also try to restore the German Trailer, using a YouTube video as guidance.

The US release is the unrated version. But I think you mean the International version Wink
