You could always Michael Bay it...
Joking aside, I don't actually mind the BD colours. The problem for me is how flat the midtones and highlights can be; it makes the slight to moderate undersaturation (depending on the scene) even more noticeable. It's awfully dim and anaemic looking next to both the PAL and NTSC DVDs.
But as people have said, maybe that's "correct".
