I'd guess that there will probably be an R1 release from them on this even if it's just the the same count disc release without all the special packaging. I'm hoping anyway.

Surely Shout! must have the US rights for the time being? Their release only came last year.

I would assume so but I'm sure Universal would of retained the 4K rights and probably can put it out on 4K after a short period. The arrow has got to be UK only.

An Australian BD popped up (thanks to Colson to let me note it), that seems to have a different color grading; didn't make a comparison between it and other BD versions, but it seemed to have a pretty good white balance, looking at those screenshots... until you make a direct comparison:

(quick'n'dirt comparison, left AUS, right Fundamental).

I'd say your version still looks superior, Australian BD looks too soft and still a bit too blue to my taste.

What is the enhanced audio track, exactly? Who does the commentary and where does it originate?

Commentary was found on retail BD (or was on the DVD?); the so-called "enhanced" track is just the English track, stereo, with the addition of some (not all) music from the soundtrack "slapped" over it - it was my first attempt, but result is quite nice, indeed!

It looks like there are two commentaries on the Shout BD, one with the DP and one with Carpenter and Kurt Russell. Which one is on here?

I believe it is the third Commentary from the Universal Disc with Carpenter and Russel.
