True Lies HDTV (Film4 HD) Preservation

I just saw in a private tracker a full Bluray rip (?) of what it seems a Chinese bluray.
I'm not sure if it's released officially.

Not sure, but I think the D-Theater DTS is the exact same as the DTS laserdisc audio.

Let's recap the releases for clarification:

- AC3 LD: uses a 16-bit master that had been slightly remixed for home use

- DTS LD: 18-bit master an exact duplicate (bit-for-bit clone) of the theatrical mix used to make the 70mm prints and DTS/Dolby Digital 35mm prints

- AC-3 DVD R1: Same as DTS LD uses the 18-bit master an exact duplicate (bit-for-bit clone) of the theatrical mix used to make the 70mm prints and DTS/Dolby Digital 35mm print.

- AC3 DVD R2: I think it might be the same as the AC3 LD.

- Japanese DTS DVD: Probably same as AC-3 DVD R1 ie same as DTS LD.

- D-Theater: probably same as AC-3 DVD R1 ie same as DTS LD.

Feel free to correct according to your own research and comparisons.

Saw True Lies at a 5 Arnold movie marathon at the Alamo Drafthouse this past year and they played True Lies first. The 35mm print was in horrible condition. Dirt everywhere, and a low buzzing noise throughout the entire film. These theaters here in NY that play old movies on 35mm use the same prints (I think they share/shuffle them around). Hopefully whichever print you see it on was kept in better condition.

Bummer. I've seen a few beat up prints with buzzing optical tracks. How did the 35mm colours compare to the various home releases?

I have the DVHS rip of True lies in 720 and high bitrate AC3 would not need to upgrade from that
